Botanical Name: Cereus jamacaru spp
Common Name: Cuddly Cactus
Light: Bright direct light with around 6-8 hours of sun daily.
Light Requirement: Sun
Water: Let the soil be 100% dry. Give it a well watered drink until soil is thoroughly soaked. Repeat the process when the soil has completely dried out. Summer months water every 2-3 weeks. Winter months every 4-6 weeks.
Temperature: Optimal temperatures range between 20°C- 30°C
Humidity: Low humidity
Fertilizer: Specific cactus fertilizer diluted to 1/2 the strength. Every few months throughout the spring and summer. Roughly 3 times total. Stopping all fertilization throughout the fall and winter months.
Harmful to pets?: Non-toxic but their prickly exterior can cause injuries
