Botanical Name: Oxalis
Common Name: Shamrock White
Flower: White, yellow, shades of pink and purple
Features: These plants easy to care for and have the unusual habit of opening during the day and closing at night
Light: Bright, indirect preferred but can handle direct sunlight indoors only.
Water: Water when 1/2 – 3/4 of the soil volume is dry, water until it flows through the drainage hole at the bottom. Do not leave sitting in drainage.
Temperature: Normal household temperature is good. Don’t let it go below 15°C
Humidity: Prefers a humid environment
Fertilizer: Monthly with a balanced houseplant fertilizer during spring and summer. Stop fertilizing in the fall and winter.
Harmful to pets?: Yes. The best practice is always to keep houseplants out of reach of small children and pets.
