Features: Native to North and South Carolina these are carnivorous plants that feed on insects.
Light: Bright, direct light
Water: Water with rainwater (rather than tap water) if possible, or distilled water. Place in a 1 cm deep dish of water, keeping the water level no higher than halfway up the plant. Keep soil evenly moist, but not soaking wet.
Temperature: Prefers warmer temperatures between 21-35°C
Humidity: Very high humidity levels are preferred. Mist frequently, use pebble trays and group with other humidity loving plants.
Fertilizer: Do not fertilize
Harmful to pets?: No. These plants are safe for pets and children. The best practice is always to keep houseplants out of reach of small children and pets.
