Botanical Name: Coffea arabica
Common Name: Coffee Plant
Flower: A mature plant will produce white flowers that last 2-3 months
Features: Glossy green leaves with a compact form until it flowers
Light: Bright, direct to indirect light
Water: Peat base, slightly acidic soil is ideal, keeping the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged.
Temperature: Prefers warmer temperatures between 21-27°C
Humidity: Very high humidity levels are preferred. Mist frequently, use pebble trays and group with other humidity loving plants.
Fertilizer: Apply a diluted acetic, slow-release fertilizer 'for acid-loving plants' during the spring and summer months.
